Nagaland records 7 new Covid-19 cases; tally rises to 12175

Dimapur, Feb. 11 (EMN): The total number of Covid-19 cases in Nagaland has increased to 12175 with seven new cases reported on Wednesday.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update on Twitter that seven new Covid-19 cases – six in Kohima and one in Dimapur – were detected on Thursday.
He added that five patients from Dimapur recovered on the same day.
According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 89 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 88 are asymptomatic and one mild. The state has also recorded 11848 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 73 cases, followed by Dimapur-14 and Peren-2, while Tuensang, Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng , Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto have zero cases.
