Nagaland records 145 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

Cumulative recoveries stand at 17143 and death toll rises to 415 in the state

Dimapur, June 7 (EMN): A total of 145 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 22,918.

Out of the 145 new cases detected in the last 24 hours,40 were in Mokokchung, 36 in Tuensang, 31 in Dimapur, 23 in Kohima, five in Mon, four in Zunheboto, two each in Kiphire and Longleng, and one each in Peren and Phek, the Health and Family Welfare Department updated.

The state currently has 4703 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 4349 are asymptomatic, 235 mild, 61 moderate on oxygen, 34 severe on oxygen, 16 in ICU without a ventilator, and eight in ICU on a ventilator.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 2,197, 1,496 in Kohima, 411 in Mokokchung, 233 in Tuensang, 83 in Zunheboto, 73 in Phek, 77 in Mon, 58 in Wokha, 32 in  Kiphire, 28 in Longleng, and 15 in Peren. 

Nagaland also registered 169 recoveries on Monday, taking the cumulative recoveries to 17143, and 415 deaths have been recorded so far, out of which three were reported in the last 24 hours.
