DIMAPUR
•    Dynamic FC host Sangpang FC in the first of the three matches in Dimapur on Wednesday. DFC had an encouraging result at the weekend after holding United Redskins to a draw to earn a well deserved point. They are still in search of their first victory and Wednesday will provide another opportunity in front of the home crowd. Sangpang FC produced another tremendous performance on Saturday when they defeated Naga Tornadoes in Mokokchung. The Mokokchung outfit will be eager to maintain the winning momentum going into this testing away fixture in Dimapur. •    Naga Tornadoes had a disappointing outing in their last away game when they went down by two goals against Sangpang on Saturday. They will look to bounce back from that defeat when they take on Dimapur United in the second game at DDSC Stadium. Dimapur United returned to winning ways on Saturday when they outplayed league leaders Veda FC and handed them their first defeat of the season. This imposing victory against the in-form team will be a huge morale booster going into another crucial encounter on Wednesday.
•    United Redskins shared points with Dynamic FC at the weekend. Newcomers Redskins have been difficult to predict so far with a victory, two draws and two defeats after five games into the season. A good performance and a positive result against a quality side on Wednesday will give them a huge lift for the coming matches. Kohima Komets only got a point out of the last two games and they will be fired up coming into the match against Redskins. They are now 4th on the table and trail the leaders by five points – with a game in hand. Anything less than maximum points will be a disappointment for KK as they look to reduce the deficit at the top.

KOHIMA
Doyang’s uneventful start to the season has seen them rooted to the bottom of the table with just a point from six games. They have an uphill task ahead of them as they face a strong Barak side in Kohima on Wednesday. Doyang FC has revitalized the squad and they will hope for an immediate impact and turn their fortunes around. Barak FC drew with Kohima Komets in their last game and they are now placed 6th on the table. The defending champions’ indifferent form this season see them seven points behind runaway league leaders Veda FC and they must put in a string of victories to keep up with the front runners.

MOKOKCHUNG
Zonipang SA host Veda FC in the early kick-off in Mokokchung on Wednesday. Zonopang SA is one of the most improved sides from last season and they have been fairly consistent after six games. A well-drilled Zonipang side has steadily crept up to 3rd on the table after three wins and a draw. They will need to be at their best against leaders Veda FC if they are to get another positive result. Veda FC will look to put behind their first defeat of the season last weekend and deliver their trademark commanding performance. Despite that defeat they are still four points clear at the top with an imposing goal difference.
