Nagaland: Naga Students’ Federation lauds decision of Supreme Court on PIL against ILP

Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): The Naga Students’ Federation has hailed the Supreme Court’s decision. A statement from the federation on Tuesday acknowledged the visionary wisdom of the court in protecting the rights of indigenous people and for uplifting their cause by dismissing the PIL.

It also lauded contributions of Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and the state’s Advocate General KN Balgopal towards ensuring that the is quashed. “The federation hereby applauds their leadership role in understanding the gravity of the PIL and pursuing the same with all seriousness, thereby, bringing it to its logical conclusion,” it stated.
