Kohima, May 28 (EMN): Fifty-two stranded citizens arrived in Nagaland on Thursday, according to update from the control room of the Empowered Committee in Dimapur.
As of 6 pm on Thursday, a train from New Delhi had ferried 40 passengers while another from Dibrugarh arrived in Dimapur with one passenger, informed the official.
An ambulance from Assam transported four persons while a bus from Arunachal Pradesh arrived with seven people, taking the tally to 52.
Nineteen passengers via a New Delhi train, and a Dibrugarh train with two passengers are arriving at 1.30 am and 2.30 am respectively on Friday.
Meanwhile, four buses from West Bengal will be ferrying 128 passengers around 4 to 6 am on Friday. Another train carrying 645 stranded people of Nagaland moved out from Goa on Thursday.
