Nagaland: Holiday declared on September 6 for all government and private schools

Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): In what will bring joy to the students and a day of rest for the teachers, September 6 (Tuesday) has been declared as a holiday for all the government and private schools in Nagaland on account of Teachers’ Day.

This was announced by the department of School Education during the state-level Teachers Day celebration at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima on Monday.

During the day’s programme, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who was also the special guest, launched Nagaland Reading Festival (Enabling micro improvements to improve love for reading), Digital Diary for government teachers and A Question A Day (AQAD) in collaboration with educational initiatives.
