Nagaland Governor and Chief Minister extend Holi greetings

Dimapur, March 18 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Holi greetings to the people of the state.

‘Holi is a festival of social harmony which brings joy and hope. Holi festival with its vibrant colours accentuates positivity and the triumph of good over evil. Let us keep in mind the fundamental purpose of the festival which is to unite the people, forgetting all differences and to have love and respect for one another,’ read the message from Mukhi.

Rio also took to Twitter to greet the people on the auspicious occasion.

“Happy Holi to all who are celebrating. May the festival of colours bring joy, delight and hope. Wishing you all a safe and a happy celebration,’ he wrote on Thursday.
