Dimapur, Dec. 3 (EMN): The meeting between the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which was supposed to be held on Saturday in Delhi, has been delayed by a day.

An ENPO executive confirmed to Eastern Mirror that the much-anticipated meeting had been rescheduled to Sunday, December 4, as the Home minister is in Gujarat, where assembly election is being held.

However, it was informed that the timing for the meeting has not been intimidated till the time of filing this story.

The Home minister had called the meeting to discuss ENPO’s demand for a separate state.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio too had left for Delhi on Saturday afternoon along with other legislators, while Deputy CM Y Patton and other ministers had left for the national capital a day earlier.

The ENPO delegation, along with leaders of Eastern Naga Students’ Federation and Eastern Nagaland Women’s Organisation, had reached Delhi on Friday for the meeting.
