Nagaland Covid update: 44 fresh cases pushes tally to 11,159

Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 44 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 11,159 so far.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘44 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today; Dimapur-27, Kohima-16 and Tuensang-1. Also, 174 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-140, Kohima-30, Tuensang-3 and Phek-1,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1087 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1018 are asymptomatic, 53 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen and six critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 9898 recoveries and 64 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 552 cases, followed by Kohima-317, Peren-165, Mon-29, Tuensang-21, Phek, Zunheboto and Kiphire one each while Mokokchung, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
