Nagaland Covid-19 update: 94 new cases take state’s tally to 7698

Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 94 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 7698.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
’94 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-55, Kohima-23, Mon-9, Zunheboto-3, Mokokchung and Peren two each. Also, 30 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-22 and Kohima-8,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1529 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1469 are asymptomatic, 43 mild, 12 moderate, 1 severe on oxygen and 4 in critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 6076 recoveries and 21 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 986 cases, followed by Kohima-372, Mokokchung-58, Mon-46, Tuensang-34, Peren-21, Zunheboto-7, Longleng-4, and Phek-1, while Kiphire and Wokha have zero cases so far.
