Nagaland Covid-19 update: 38 new cases detected, 214 patients recovered

Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 38 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 3752.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

’38 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected out of 458 samples tested. 31 in Kohima, 3 in Mon and 2 each in Wokha and Peren. Necessary contact tracing has been activated by IDSP Team to contain the virus,’ the minister tweeted.

‘Another 214 patients have recovered from Covid-19 and kept under surveillance. 94 from Dimapur, 88 from Kohima and 32 from Zunheboto,’ he added.

According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1339 active Covid-19 cases, 2396 recoveries and eight deaths.
