Nagaland Covid-19 update: 147 new cases, 11 deaths, 148 recoveries recorded today

Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 147 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 22,387.

The update from department  of Health and Family Welfare informed that out of the 147 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 53 were in Dimapur, 47 in Kohima, 19 in Tuensang, 10 in Mon, five each in Phek and Zunheboto, four in Mokokchung, two in Longleng, and one each in Peren and Wokha.

The state currently has 4695 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 4370 are asymptomatic, 190 mild, 80 moderate on oxygen, 29 severe on oxygen, 18 in ICU without ventilator, and eight in ICU in ventilator.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 2,419, 1,448 in Kohima, 231 in Mokokchung, 225 in Tuensang, 96 in Phek, 82 in Zunheboto, 68 in Wokha, 46 in Mon, 43 in  Kiphire, 20 in Longleng, and 17 in Peren. 

The state also registered 16,637 recoveries, including 148 on Friday, and 402 deaths, out of which 11 were reported in the last 24 hours.
