Dimapur, July 1 (EMN): ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) – Don Bosco, which is implementing SBI Gram Seva programme, observed the State Bank of India (SBI) Day in Dimapur by organising an awareness programme with the students and youth from the five adopted villages namely Khriezephe, Diezephe, Urra, Bade and Tsithrongse.

The objective of the career guidance and awareness programme was to disseminate better, correct and more information on how to prepare and face interviews especially for the army recruitment, NPSC or civil service examinations in particular, an update from AIDA stated.

“Today, there is in need of more and more proper guidance for the youngster towards their search for job and employment. With this objective, SBI Day was observed emphasising on the career guidance and awareness creation programme,” the statement read.

It stated a total of 54 students, youth and parents participated from the five adopted villages.

The speaker for the first session was Lt. Col. Virendra Singh Shekhawat from the Army Recruiting Team, Rangapahar, Dimapur, who spoke on “Opportunities for joining Indian army.”

The speakers in the second session were Moameren, proprietor of Achievers Academy, and Chuzutu Thur, educator in Achievers Academy. They spoke on “Career guidance to crack civil service.”

Report stated that Mhonlumi Ezung, convergence officer of SBI Gram Seva, welcomed the guests and the participants, while Lanthou Mark Gonmei, programme manager of SBI Gram Seva, delivered the vote of thanks.
