Dimapur, March. 2 (EMN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state has constituted a committee to assist those Naga students who are still stranded in crisis hit Ukraine as per the central directive.
An update from the party stated that it would extend all possible help and support to those Naga students through the provided helpline numbers and the information collected would be forwarded to the central leaders for further necessary action with utmost priority.
It mentioned that the Central government, under the initiative of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has formed a special task force of ministers under ‘Operation Ganga’ in its effort to bring back the stranded Indian nationals from the war-torn Ukraine. It stated hundreds of students have been evacuated from Ukraine so far and added that the process is on for evacuation of the remaining Indian nationals at the earliest.
