Playing the first group league of the Junior Girls National Football Championship at Cuttack, Odissa, Nagaland defeated Punjab by 13-0. Ruth scored five goals in the 24, 37, 57, 77 & 80 minutes, followed by Lam’s four goals in 28, 50, 83 & 89 minute while Lito scored in 2 & 85 minute and Neichetuo in 16 and 71 minute.
