Naga Orpheus Hunt reaches Zunheboto

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]N what may be termed as the highest turnout in the history of Naga Orpheus Hunt, formerly known as Naga Idol, 36 contestants, even aspiring contestants in their school uniforms, turned out at the audition which was held at circuit house, Zunheboto.The panel of judges comprising Tali Angh, Aheli Moitra and Moanungsang had a tough time selecting the contestants for the screening round. Finally, seven contestants were picked out from Zunheboto district. They are Obed N Jimo (contestant No.34), Mughasheli Y Yepthomi (contestant No. 38.), Mikato Sumi (contestant No. 38), Nogheli Z Muru (contestant No. 42), Vikatoli (contestant No. 55), Tonakali Ayemi (contestant No. 65) and Kinitoli Y. Yepthomi (contestant No. 43).
Quoting Aheli, one of the Judges for this year version of NOH, said the audition at Zunheboto was by far the best and pleasant not because of the massive turnout but assessing by the enthusiasms shown by all the aspiring candidates.
The screening round will be held at Eastern Talkies, Mokokchung on September 28. The event partner for Zunheboto district was a group called ’Becoz We Can’ , a group of young talented individuals from various walks of life who have come together with a mission to contribute for Zunheboto and Naga society as a whole.
