Kohima, Nov. 26 (EMN): The Naga Club will be celebrating its centenary with the theme ‘Coalescence.’ The event will be conducted at the ‘Centenary ground’ of the Baptist Church of Jotsoma, in Kohima district, on Nov.29.
The publicity committee of the group issued a press release inviting people to participate in the event.
According the press release, the committee acknowledges the people of Jotsoma village in particular and the Naga people for ‘ensuring secure, now a very congenial atmosphere and all logistics for a perfectly peaceful and successful centenary celebration.’
It has also appreciated elders of Naga tribes ‘who acknowledged their responsibility as entrusted as advisors to the office bearers of the Naga Club.’
The Naga Club added that a ‘centenary monolith’ had reached and would be unveiled during the main event.
