Musicians’ studio Kohima conducts annual recital
Musicans’ Studio Kohima, an institute of Music Academy and Jam Pad observed their annually recital on Aug. 31 at Red Cross Complex in Kohima.
Director of the institute, Kezevilie Zinyü, speaking on the occasion said that the sole purpose of the annual recital was for the students to improve their stage performance, to master their skills and to be prepared for their upcoming international graded exams.
An update issued on Sep. 4 informed that the recital was attended by the student’s parents, guardians and well-wishers.
The recital showcased performances ranging from a variety of styles and performers including guitar, violinist, keyboards, drum, vocal including the teachers of the academy.
The studio is said to have started in the year 2015 with motto ‘appreciating music’ aiming to provide a place of learning music the right way to the aspiring students and provide to the musicians and bands with a jam room.
The academy produces about 10 qualified musicians through internationally graded exams annually with about 500 students each year.
