Müleciyi Vadeo is Chakhesang Wrestling Association U-16 champion

Phek, Feb. 19 (EMN): Müleciyi Vadeo won the Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) U-16 wrestling championship on Wednesday at Phek town.

16-year-old Vadeo who represented Chozuba Range Wrestling Association (CRWA) is from Rünguzu Nagwü village.

The U-16/junior category is introduced for the first time during the 27th Wrestling tournament of the Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA).

Vadeo who was also the champion of Chozuba Range Wrestling Association received INR 25,000 while Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) Thenuveyi Vero, a 15-year-old from Chepoketa village stood second and pocketed INR 20,000.

Johi Rhakho stood third and Phrüpe Lomi stood in fourth position and they received INR 15,000 and INR 10,000 respectively.

Chokri Area Wrestling Association emerged as the group champion and was awarded INR 10,000.

The two-day tournament was hosted by the Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) and managed by Losami Baptist Church (LBC). A new team of office bearers was also elected for the tenure 2020-24 with Vekhozo (Chozuba) as the new president, Kuzhovesa Soho as general secretary, Vezoho Ruho and Keniezo Puro as the vice president.
