Motorola Edge 30 with Snapdragon 778G+ 5G processor launched in India
Smartphone maker Motorola on Thursday launched its new mid-range android device, the Motorola Edge 30, in the Indian market.
The tech company is targeting the sub-30k segment with the Motorola Edge 30 and the device offers Snapdragon 778G+ 5G processor and a 144Hz billion colour pOLED 10-bit display for INR 27,999.
Motorola is offering two variants of the device: INR 27,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage option and INR 29,999 for the 8GB RAM/128 GB storage option. Users can choose between two colour options, meteor grey and aurora green.

“The Motorola Edge 30 comes with Motorola’s signature near-Stock Android 12 experience, assured upgrade to Android 13 and 14 plus security updates for 3 years,” the company said in a statement.
“With seamless wireless connectivity, users can now enjoy a hassle-free connection with their TV and get more work done with a full mobile desktop experience on the big screen,” it added.
The Motorola Edge 30 features a triple camera setup which includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP depth sensor. The device has a 32MP camera on the front for selfies.

Other features of the Motorola Edge 30 include a 4,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, near-stock Android 12 experience, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Thinkshield protection, 13 5G bands and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.
Motorola also claims that the Edge 30 is the “world’s thinnest smartphone” at 6.7mm and weighing only 155 g.
The company has confirmed that the device will get Android 13 and Android 14 and three years of security updates.
Sales for the device will begin on May 19 via Flipkart, Reliance Digital and other online and offline retailers.
