MLA from Diphu constituency elected chairman of CTAALA

Diphu, Aug. 2 (EMN):  Bidya Sing Engleng, MLA from Diphu (ST) Constituency, Karbi Anglong has been appointed as chairman of the Committee on Tribal Affairs of Assam Legislative Assembly (CTAALA), Dispur while 12 other MLAs were appointed as committee members.

“The term of the Committee shall be for a period of one year with effect from July 29 or till a new committee is constituted in accordance with the rules”, read the notification issued by S K Sharma, Secretary, Assam Legislative Assembly.

Meanwhile, CEM of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang, and Richard Tokbi, Forest Board Chairman and MAC congratulated Bidya Sing Engleng on being appointed as chairman of the Committee on Tribal  Affairs of Assam Legislative Assembly, Dispur.
