Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): A roadside marketing shed constructed under North East Rural Livelihood Project (NERLP) under ministry of DoNER and funded by World Bank was inaugurated in Huker village on September 25 by the BDO of Chessore Block, Noktan Konyak, as the special guest.
The road side marketing shed was inaugurated in the presence of the project
facilitating team of NERLP, Chessore block.
Speaking at the inauguration programme, Noktan acknowledged the various opportunities extended to the people of the area under NERLP. He further encouraged the people especially the SHGs to make good use of the marketing shed so as to sell their agricultural produce and generate income.
He also urged the SHG village federation of Huker village to take good care of the infrastructures provided to them by the government.
The Head GB of Huker village expressed gratitude to the department for their concern towards the uplift of the rural people through their activities.
