Man came back to life after being declared dead? 1 person arrested for circulating fake news

Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): The Dimapur Police on Saturday arrested one person for circulating fake news on social media that a patient had come back to life after being declared dead by Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur, Nagaland.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Crime), Relo Aye, informed Eastern Mirror that a 64-year-old patient was discharged from CIHSR as per the request of the patient’s family on July 8.

However, a man who resides in the same locality as the patient accused the hospital of gross negligence by spreading false information regarding the patient’s health, according to the police.

Following an FIR filed by the CIHSR hospital management at the Diphupar Police Station Saturday, July 9, the police arrested the accused on the same day.
