Lt. Emi Merry memorial women tournament concludes

Wokha, Feb. 19 (EMN): The Lt. Emi Merry (IAS) memorial women tournament concluded at Wokha local ground on Wednesday with Tsumang and Wokha Town Yanthamo Eloe Ekhung emerging champions in football and volleyball respectively.

Tsumang defeated defending champions Suren Colony SC by a solitary goal in football final match while in volleyball, Wokha Town Yanthamo Eloe Ekhung beat Lakhuti Women’s SC in the final match.

The tournament was organised by Wokha District Women’s Sports Association in collaboration with district administration (MSK) Wokha, supported by the department of Women resource development.
