The 5th Wokha district football championship titled ‘Lotha Football Championship’ will kick start from January 14.The championship is organized by Wokha District Football Association and supported by Nagaland State Aids Control Society (NSACS) as part of its multi media campaign for HIV\AIDS “Awareness through sports.” The winner of the championship will receive a cash prize of Rs.80, 000 along with certificates and medal while the runner-up will receive Rs.40, 000 + certificates and medal. The third and fourth place will receive Rs.20, 000 and Rs.15, 000 respectively while the losing quarter finalists will receive Rs.5000 Each.
Therefore, all interested clubs / ranges/circles are informed to collect registration form from Mr/Mrs Shanpan and son’s General store, police point, Wokha town.
It is also informed that the association will be conducting Referee exam in collaboration with the Nagaland Referee Board. In this regard interested candidates are informed to contact the President WDFA (9436073877/8575774111) for necessary information.
