Longleng health workers trained on integrated RCH register

The District Health Society of Longleng has concluded the training program for medical officers, ANMs, BPMs and health workers on the Integrated RCH register village wise, USSD and mother and child tracking system (MCTS). The training concluded in the IDSP conference hall of the district’s chief medical officer on February 6, Friday.
The resource persons were deputy director of the department of Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Khriezotuo, Assistant Program Manager Abeni Humtsoe and DPO Dr. Imtiwabang Aier.Dr. Imtiwabang Aier trained the participants on the how to maintain Integrated Reproductive Child Health(RCH) register and he further instructed to follow up new RCH register for reporting which will be implemented by this month and he also reoriented the trainers on Mothers & Child Protection Card (MCP).
Abeni Humtsoe briefed the participants about the current status of Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) where she gave hands-on training about updating the USSD services provided to mothers and child.
Dr. Khriezotuo also spoke about the importance and benefits of the new integrated RCH register and urged the medical officers and health workers to impart and assist health workers in their respective blocks.
