Livingstone Foundation International College holds one-day sports meet

Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): Livingstone Foundation International College (LFIC) held a one-day sports meet on the theme “Expect the best” on Friday.

Dr. Hitoka H Sumi, publisher and chief editor of Dimapur Publishing Company, who was the chief guest, encouraged the students that participation in sports leads to personality development, value of honesty, respect and dedication, an update informed.

Stating that team work is the most important lesson one can learn through sports, which inturn would help one to socialise and value the company of one’s friends and family, he encouraged students to unleash their full potential and to ‘think high not comparing one’s achievement with the success of others.

The two teams — Tokyo and Berlin – competed in various games such as badminton, carom, table tennis and basketball, where Berlin emerged as the overall champion.

Hivika Yepthomi and Sorikumla were declared as the Mr. and Miss fitness 2022 respectively.
