LG reveals LG UltraGear 17G90Q with RTX 3080 and 11th Gen Intel CPU

Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): LG on Monday announced the launch of its ‘first gaming laptop’ – the LG UltraGear 17G90Q – with the RTX 3080 GPU and 11th gen Intel CPU.

LG’s UltraGear 17G90Q gaming laptop is a shift from its productivity-oriented laptops and it boasts all the latest high-end specs that a premium gaming laptop should have.

Powered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU and an 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake H CPU, the device is well equipped to handle all the latest AAA game titles you can throw at it.

The UltraGear 17G90Q also come with a 300 Hz 1080p IPS display, up to 32GB of RAM, a 93Wh battery, a 1080p webcam and 1TB of storage.

Other features include a RGB backlit keyboard, a power button fingerprint sensor USB 4 Gen 3×2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-C, HDMI, RJ45, DC-in, as well as microSD/UFS ports.

The UltraGear 17G90Q gaming laptop has a vapour chamber cooling system to control thermals while gaming. It is also cased in aluminum with a purple gray colour and weighs in at around 2.4 kg.

LG has yet to specify the price of its Ultragear gaming laptops, however, more details will be revealed by LG at CES 2022 on January 4. Expect these laptops to be launched in Asia and US markets in early 2022.
