LFI College organises intercollegiate event ‘Finthusia’
DIMAPUR — The department of Commerce, Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) College organised its inaugural intercollegiate event, ‘Finthusia: Leveraging ways for financial enthusiasm’, on March 9.
The event aimed to ignite a passion for finance among college students and provide them with valuable insights into the world of finance, according to a press release.
The event was attended by Dr. Yan Murry, chief executive of Pinnacle Skills, and his colleague Sahana Khan as guest speakers. Anirban Mukherjee, representing Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., was a guest counsellor.
It featured both formal and informal sessions. The informal session included various competitions such as a talent show, a spelling bee competition, Kaun Banega Cashpatti, e-sports, and fun-filled carnival games.
The talent show was won by Thejavor from LFI College, while Edwina Lungleng from Salesian College Dimapur emerged victorious in the spelling bee competition.
The event was sponsored by Uniqlobe Enterprise, Nili Motors, Chase Foundation, Zaben Murry Design, and Rajasthan Cycle & Auto Store (RCAS). A total of 10 colleges, including two universities, participated in Finthusia.
