Kohima Press Club sports day held

Dimapur, Oct. 28 (EMN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) organised its annual sports day at the Indoor Badminton and TT Stadium in Kohima on Sat. on Oct. 27.

Altogether, 30 members of the press club participated in the event, according to an update received here on Sun. Oct. 28.

Before the games commenced, the participants observed a minute of silence as a tribute to Xavier Rutsa who passed away in June while serving as the president of the press club.

The KPC is grateful to all who contributed towards the successful conduct of the sports day, with a special mention of proprietor NM Cable Duosanyü Keditsu, Kenny Peseyie, Asonuo Kezio, Atono Tsükrü and Vincent Belho for financial contributions and entrepreneur Khietole Yhoshü who sponsored the sports equipments. The club also extends appreciation to advisor for Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) Zale Neikha and Information and Public Relations (IPR) director Limawati Ao for gracing the event and encouraging the press club’s engagement in sports activities.
