Diphu, Sep.21 (EMN): Karbi Anglong Police on Sunday seized 40 cartons of Indian-made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from Lahorijan area in Assam. The IMFL was seized from a Gypsy which was headed towards Dimapur, according to the police.
Receiving proper input sources, the Khatkhati Police team apprehended one white gypsy carrying 480 bottles of liquor. However, the driver managed to escape being apprehended by the police.
The seized liquor along with the vehicle has been taken into custody by the police, it was informed.
