The Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) has held its General Meeting cum Picnic at Zero Point 2 at Zungki River with all its share holders. The association in the meeting had resolved that the tenure of all the office bearers shall further be extended for 3(three) years. Besides, in order to promote the sport in the district, the association has resolved to hold its next edition of Kiphire District Cricket Tournament at Pungro Sub-Division for the year 2014.
The association has also elected Justin Khatomong T as the president and Kanglise Sangtam as the vice president. Kiutsumong Yimchunger and Michael Yimchunger were elected as the General secretary and assistant general secretary respectively, Divad Dishlen as the finance secretary and K Sechumla Sangtam as the treasurer. Semato and Pusukhong Jong’s were elected convenor and secretary of the controlling board with Andrew, Rothrongse, Wilson, Obeca Sumi, Kongki, Aliba, M. Daniel as members.
Tsikhase Sangtam, Rohit Rai and Ato Yimchunger were selected as Umpires and Pikhumba angtam and Dhanjay Ratwat as score book members.
Meanwhile, the association has expressed its gratefulness to the ENSF officials, invitees and all concern members for contribution and its esteem presence during the Annual Picnic cum General Meeting.
