KOHIMA: Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) has resolved to organise the Kohima district athletics meet 2023 and decided to invite all the government and private schools in the district for their participation.
The resolution to this effect was taken during its first annual general meeting (AGM) held on Friday at the office of the District Sports Officer (DSO), Kohima.
The house also resolved to felicitate its members who bring laurels to the association and to collect annual membership fee. It further resolved to organise coaching camps for both men and women athletics.
A press release issued by the association stated that the meeting was presided by Neingusalie, while an invocation prayer was said by Nielazetuo Khezhie. The association activities report was presented by its joint secretary, Leketoulie Liezietsu, and the treasurer report was presented by Keneisevi Meyase.
The business session was presided over by Thepfungunyu Solo.
