K-Pop star Jang Han-byul to hold ‘fan meet’ and mini-concerts in Dimapur and Kohima

Korean singer and television personality Jang Han-byul, who appeared on the Korean reality shows Code: Secret Room, Society Game, besides having been the host of popular TV shows like After School Club, Simply K pop, MNET US M Countdown, is set to meet his fans in Dimapur and Kohima at a fan meet and mini-concert on July 20 and 23 respectively. The event is dubbed as “Summer Star Tour” and Musik-A Events is hosting the event in association with Pinkbox Events.

According to the organisers Jang Han-byul’s performance on July 20 in Dimapur will be his first concert in India and the artist was stated to be ‘super excited’ for the fan meet and concert.

In an interview with the Namaste Hallyu (NH) that was made available to Eastern Mirror by the Musik-A Events, the K-Pop artist was stated to be ecstatic for his first concert in India. ‘I never thought that I would be lucky enough to visit India but to be invited to see my fans is such a blessing. One of my closest friends went on a holiday to India just earlier this year and told me it was a fantastic experience. I am planning on having a lot of fun when I visit,’ Jang Han-byul responded.

The artist in the interview with NH stated: ‘I would love to eat some traditional and local cuisine such as butter chicken and vada pav. Taj Mahal would be one of the places that I would want to take a selfie at least once in my life but we will have to see. I know that Indian culture is different from that of Korea and Australia so I would love most to genuinely experience the local culture’.

Jang Han-byul recommends his fans that his songs ‘1AM’ or ‘Let The Wind Blow’ are the two songs that are very characteristically strong. ‘If they like these two, then I am sure they will like my other music’ he stated in the interview.

A former lead vocalist of boy band LED Apple, Jang Hanbyul lived in Australia before moving to Korea and he also holds a bachelor’s degree in dental science from the University of Queensland. Although he did not pursue medical career for the love of music he stated he was lucky enough to be doing what he love most and performing for his fans.

‘I suggest, not only to music lovers but to all my fans, that they weigh up their options and consider sincerely what they love doing most and work as hard as they can to achieve this’, the K-Pop artist states in the interview.
