Dimapur, April 9 (EMN): Dimapur Jain community celebrated Mahavir Jayanti on April 9 with gaiety and traditional fervour.
Considered as one of the most auspicious festival, Jain community undertook a grand procession accompanied by students of SD Jain School, Dimapur.
On the occasion, Binod Sethi, vice president of Jain Samaj, thanked the administration for the permissions. He also wished that the preaching of Lord Mahavira- Right Faith (Samyak Darshana), Right Knowledge (Samyak Jnana), and Right Conduct (Samyak Charitra) together will lead to real path towards liberation of ourselves.
On the occasion, the family of Phulchand Pawan Kumar and Tinku Sethi provided refreshment to all those who participated in the procession.
