Dimapur, Nov. 18 (EMN): An inter-sector relay race competition on the theme “Clean Electoral Roll” will be conducted at Noklak on November 29.
An update from DIPR informed that the event will be held as part of the systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) awareness campaign on special summary revision of photo electoral rolls with reference to January 1, 2022 as the qualifying date.
It stated that each sector was required to send three participants who are 18 years and above, both boys and girls for competition. It said that the race would cover the following route — starting point Traffic point main town, High School A sector- Koungao sector- Danlepdong sector- Medical sector-Pengann Sector-Traffic Point.
The last date for submission of participants’ names is November 25, it added.
