Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): The Phek town 2nd Inter-High School Tournament organised by the Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) under the theme “Believe it, Achieve it” got underway at the Phek local ground on Friday, July 19 with Keyirangding Hegul, Project Director DRDA Phek, as the inaugural tournament guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Keyirangding Hegul complimented the PTCSU for organising such a platform to showcase sporting talents. He motivated the students to exhibit their talents, discipline and dedication to progress in sports. He also reminded the students that an academic field of study alone is not education but excelling in the field of sports is also a part of education.
Hegul also conveyed a relevant allegory resemblance to the students’ life which would add up moral values and obligations in their day to day behaviour and proceedings. He further urged the students to be honest and prompt in their studies to acquire quality education and to outshine in their academics as well as in sports.
Altogether, eight schools are participating in the tournament.
