Mumbai, May 8 (PTI) : Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial firmed up at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on rising demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein was also marginally up owing to good demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil slipped owing to subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activities.
In the non-edibles segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 70 per 100kg to Rs 4,095 from Monday’s closing level of Rs 4,025 and castoroil commercial slid by Rs 14 per 10kg to Rs 849 as against Rs 835.
Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 780 per 10 kg.
Moving to edible section, refined palmolein inched up per 10kg to Rs 718, but, groundnut oil moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 845 from Rs 850, yesterday.
