Indian army to organise painting competition

Kohima, July 6 (EMN): To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Indian armed forces victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the Indian army has invited entries for online painting competition from July 1 to August 31.

The competition is open to all citizens of India and entries can be sent to swarnimvijayvarsh.adgpi@gmail.com . The details of the competition could also be viewed on Indian army’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter handles.                  

It informed that painting should be the original work of the participant with the painting size of 3 feet x 2 feet in size. Participants are also asked to submit their details along with the painting including their name, address and phone number.

It also informed that paintings submitted by the participants would be utilised by the Indian army. It added that shortlisted paintings would be collected physically for final selection. The last date for submission is August 31.

The winners of the competition would be rewarded with cash prizes of INR 1,00,000 and INR 50,000.
