Dimapur, July 31 (EMN): The chief veterinary officer (CVO) of Longleng, Dr. A Imsuyanger Ao, was awarded the ‘best field veterinarian award’ in recognition of his contribution to the veterinary profession.
Dr. Imsuyanger was conferred the award during the international virtual conference on ‘Emerging challenges to veterinary profession’ organised by the Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held on June 19 and 20.
The Nagaland Veterinarians’ Association (NVA) has organised a felicitation programme in Dimapur on July 30. During the programme, NVA president Dr. KN Zubemo Humtsoe delivered the felicitation speech and also handed over the certificate, while the deputy CVO, Dr. Imomanen Tzüdir, said the invocation prayed and delivered a short speech.
The members congratulated Dr. Imsuyanger for setting an example for the upcoming field veterinarians and his contributions for the uplift of the rural economy.
