It is absolutely obvious that God will never sleep even a single second. Since God is the creator, He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. Twenty four hours day and night He is working and looking after His creation. The earth never exists without the knowledge of God. God is everywhere, his grace and love is present in every human heart. Yes, the question if God sleeps for few a seconds seem to be ridiculous but I personally ask this question to know the busiest works of God.
This is a philosophical question that no one can answer precisely about what things will exactly happen. Whereby, when I asked this question to my lecturers and my fellow friends they gave different opinions. Some says that when God sleeps for a few seconds the earth will change upside and down (Ulta Puta) in the sense the wicked people will turn down the world. Some says God give us the human will power so human being can look after the earth even though God sleeps for a few seconds. While other says the earth will remain and function as it is, since the universal law of God will remain constant.
It is a debatable question asking is God the controller of this universe? Many people said yes He is, on the other hand some said He is not. Therein, no one knows the realistic works of God. In spite of controversy, I strongly believe that he is the controller of this universe.
In the Oxford Dictionary the word sleep is defined as “To rest with the eyes closed and the mind and the body not active”. The God that refers is the “God of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit”. Yes it is absolute that God is an infinite being and He cannot be described like human being having eyes, mind and body. But this is the perception that assumes if God is like human being. For the assumption if God is like human being and fell asleep for a few seconds then imagine the active works of God will be completely put to rest. His presence will be totally stopped. The powerful work will become powerless because sleeping person doesn’t have strength to defeat the awakening one. The cognition will absolutely stop from discerning what is right and wrong.
In this way the forces of evil power can intervene and conquer the whole world. Everything will be completely under control by his power since Satan is the prince of this world. As the Bible said human beings are powerless without the spirit of God therefore one cannot defeat the enemy without His spirit. The authority over the Satan will be diminished. The human will power will be rheostat by the devil. The humans mind can be directed under the guidance of the devil, therein, the despicable works can happen all around the world. Million and millions of life will be taken away. The entire world can be full of destruction since the works of Satan is only for destruction, killing, hatred, war and so on. The wicked will overpower the righteous. There can be a massive blast around the entire world. Astonishing works can happen without any consciousness.
This is transcendental question trying to guess and perceive about God nature with limited knowledge. Realizing that God’s grace and love is present for everyone even though people are so ignorant about His presence. The spirit of God is working spontaneously without any rest. Thereby every Human being should realize that God’s presence and guidance is on for twenty four hours extending help to the one who needs help and sees every abomination works of human beings but passionate to forgive and forget. His love never fails to anybody. Thus, He is a busy God and hence human being must wake up and start working with Him in full swing for the common good.
