I have some agendas to push forward: New DC Mkg

FAREWELL programme for outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Muroho Chotso, ADC Chubawati Chang, SDO (C) Vekhoyi Chakhesang and civic reception for the incoming Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel was held here at town Hall today.
The outgoing DC Mokokchung, Muroho Chotso in his speech said that whatever was achieved during his stay in Mokokchung from 15th March 2012, was due to the support and co-operation of the people of Mokokchung. He also mentioned his gratitude towards all the administrative officers in the district, officers from different departments, Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang, AKM, DBs, GBs, Village Councils, Ward authorities and all citizens of Mokokchung for their contributions and support saying that it is the team work which made him sail through every situations during his short stint in Mokokchung as the administrative head of the district. He also appealed to the people to extend their co-operation and support to the new Deputy Commissioner as they have shown to him. He expressed hope that the new DC would take the district to a new height.
The incoming DC Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel, a 2009 batch IAS who served in Mokokchung as SDO (C) during his probation, while delivering a short speech said that coming back to Mokokchung was a blessing. He said for him it is home away from home.
The new DC said that he has some agendas which he was eager to push forward as DC Mokokchung such as the border issue, to uplift the economy of the local people specially in the villages, to export what we can so as to sport local produces to the other parts, to sort out issues in the district and to see to the welfare of his staff.
Sushil Kumar Patel also urged all the stakeholders and NGOs specially the people of Mokokchung for their support and co-operation saying that by supporting and complimenting each other we can make our dreams come true. He was also optimistic that with the support of the administrative officers in the district changes could be brought during his tenure.
Short speeches were delivered by Dy. DEO Mokokchung, Rowainla on behalf of DPDB Mokokchung, Imnuksungba DB-1 on behalf of DBs, President Ao Senden, president MCCI, SDO (c) Chantongya on behalf of outpost Administrative officers, SDO (C) (Sardar) Theodore Yanthan on behalf of officers & staff, outgoing ADC Chubawati and SDO (C) (Esstt) Vekhoyi Chakhesang. SDO (C) Rajesh Soundaranjan chaired the programme while pastor MTBA said the invocation.
