Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): Administrator, Tuensang town council (TTC) and SDO (Civil) Tuensang, Pakon Phom inaugurated new fish kiosks at St. John ‘A’ Sector, Tuensang Town on Nov. 2.
The Administrator thanked the department of fisheries and aquatic resources for constructing the kiosks and at the same time encouraged the public to make use of the kiosks to sell local fishes and to keep the stalls hygienic.
The district fishery officer, Tuensang, Rongsenkumzuk said the kiosk was constructed with funds from NABARD for the year 2017-18. He also urged public to maintain the kiosk in a hygienic manner and asked them to sell only fishes at the stall. The DFO also informed that it was the 3rd fish kiosk that has been constructed by the department for the benefit of the general public. He also thanked the land owner for providing their land to construct the fish stalls.
