Fazl Ali College felicitates meritorious service award winners

Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): Fazl Ali College (FAC) has organised a felicitation programme on November 25 to honour two meritorious service award recipients of the college which was conferred by the department of Higher Education, government of Nagaland.

An update from the college stated that the department awarded Dr. Lanurenla, assistant professor and head of English department, and Zuluwati, peon, with citation and cash award in recognition of their dedicated service and commitment towards the uplift and growth of higher education.

Speaking on the occasion, the college’s principal, Dr. I Wati Imchen, lauded the two achievers and encouraged the faculty to work harder and continue to be more sincere in one’s profession.

Short speeches were delivered by the recipients and others.

Meanwhile, the college also observed the Constitution Day on November 25 at the college conference hall. As directed by the office of the deputy commissioner, Mokokchung, the teaching faculty and non-teaching staff led by Dr. E Benrithung Patton, assistant professor of Political Science department, read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution commemorating the Constitution Day.
