Dimapur, Dec. 21 (EMN): Father’s House Church (FHC) located at 7th Mile, Chümoukedima, organised ‘A heart of Christmas concert’ on the theme “Behold” in its premises on December 20.
The concert was hosted by Jenny Kire, administrator of Shemrock School, while the invocation was said by Rev Apostle L Yimsung from Sydney, Australia, who also welcomed the congregation with a verse from Micah 5:2, an update from the church’s multimedia department stated on Saturday.
It stated that songs and choreography were presented by children of Ebenezer Orphanage Home, Old Age Tribal home, Institute for Music and Education, Petros Dance Studio besides various bands and solo artistes like White Rose, Ron Sharma, Kilang Pongen, Ketsi Kire and KL Pamei.
The concert witnessed a special presentation of ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for selfless contribution, dedication and commitment to God which was presented to Rev. Dr. Noksangchila Ao, 92 years.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Robert Kikon, senior pastor of Father’s House Church, asked all to ‘behold Jesus, gaze upon His beauty, rest in His presence and to pause and reflect His nature and celebrate the season meaningfully.’
After reading of her bio-data, the pastoral team along with Kevizenuo Rangkau Zeliang, wife of former chief minister and present opposition leader TR Zeliang, presented a certificate and shawl to Dr. Noksangla.
The Christmas worship was led by New Wine, worship band of Father’s House Church. An 82 years old Achila Ao also belted her solo number in the end enthralling the entire congregation.
A special Christmas market food stalls, decorated with colours and lights from The Fitness House Nagaland and Lily Yepthomi were put on display. The event was organised by the Ambassadors of Father’s House Church, Dimapur.
