Fall Guys developer Mediatonic on Friday to its fans and players after users had compalined that the game auto-bought items that they did not intend to buy.
In the Fall Guys reddit forum, users reported that items were being auto purchased in the shop without their confirmation and, needless to say, players wanted a refund on these “accidental purchases.”
Other issues included Show Bucks permanently disappearing on all systems after playing on Switch, hidden key bindings triggering purchases, items being switched after selection, and a lot of players realising they have much less currency than they previously had.
According to PC Gamer, Mediatonic initially refused to refund its customers citing that the refund policy exclusively state that all purchases were final and non-refundable.
“This is not a ‘known issue’ because it is not an issue. Items cannot be bought automatically by the system, they always require input from the player. Again, whether accidental or not, you made this input and purchased the item. As per our EULA, which you agreed to, all purchases are final and will not be refunded.”
