Etiquette, decorum, dress code for taxis

The All Nagaland taxi Association has issued a code of conduct to all its members to be adhered to during the Hornbill Festival in Kohima, which commences from December 1.
The association has directed its members to keep their vehicles “neat and tidy”, and that drivers should “wear shoes and dress properly.”
The drivers are also asked not to “charge extra fare to any person”, tourist or local commuters. They are to adhere by the fares set by the RTA and ANTA of Kohima. The organization has also cautioned against driving under the influence of alcohol. Taxi service can be availed till 9 pm as for the ongoing night bazaar, the note stated. Any driver found to be violating the guidelines will be “punishable as per the rules and regulations” set by the ANTA of Kohima, the note added.
