Dimapur, Dec.5 (EMN): The proposed meeting between the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) delegation and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi seems to be in limbo as it could not be held as scheduled due to Gujarat election.

The Home minister has invited the ENPO leaders to Delhi for meeting on December 3 to discuss the former’s demand for a separate state before it was postponed to the following day, which also did not work out as planned.

It is informed that Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his deputy Y Patton, who were also in the national capital for the meeting, had returned to the state on Monday due to the delay, while minister of Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom will return on Tuesday, December 6.

According to a source, the ENPO delegation, which consists of leaders from the Eastern Naga Students Federation and Eastern Nagaland Women’s Organisation, are still in Delhi and likely to return to the state only after meeting Shah.
