Graduation ceremony for the 1st batch of trainees of the Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) Basic Entrepreneurial Skill Training (B.E.S.T) program for the year 2014 was held at the EA Training and Research Centre, Kohima on September 22.
Gopen Moses, EA Team Leader, Manipur graced the occasion as a special guest. He encouraged the graduating trainees to work hard, be honest and be exemplary entrepreneurs. He also enlightened the gathering on new and untapped avenues of business and how to take it forward. EA CEO, Neichute Doulo also exhorted the trainees and handed out the cash incentives earned by them through the practical selling assignments. Neingulie Nakhro, a first generation entrepreneur and key member of EA handed out the certificates.
The trainees shared their personal experiences and also expressed their gratitude to EA for the knowledge acquired during the two month long training. The program was chaired by in-house trainer Susan James. B.E.S.T is a training program on the basics of entrepreneurship taught by successful first generation entrepreneurs for which the second batch of trainees under DUDA is currently underway.In compliance with government of India’s instructions, Hindi Fortnight (Pakhwada) is being organized from September 16 to 26 in various Central Government Offices under the aegis of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Kohima.
During this period, various Hindi competitions for both Hindi and Non-Hindi speaking categories are being organized separately.  The Closing ceremony will be organized at 1.00 p.m. on September 26 in the State Academy Hall, P.R. Hill, Kohima under the chairmanship of Athikho Chalai, Chairman, TOLIC, Kohima and Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland.
Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, Minister of Forest, Environment & Wildlife, Government of Nagaland will grace the occasion as chief guest while Yitachu, Parliamentary Secretary, School Education, Government of Nagaland will be the guest of honour. The chief guest, guest of honour and other dignitaries will highlight the significance of Rajbhasha Hindi and there will be prize distribution for the winners of various Hindi competitions. The other highlight of the programme will be Hindi Patriotic songs, Group dances and fables presented by Kendirya Vidhyalya students, TOLIC member Office staff, their children and NEZCC, Dimapur. The programme will be attended by all the Heads of Central Government offices including staff members, Nationalized Banks, Public Sector Undertakings and Para Military Forces stationed at Kohima.
