Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): The Summer Camp 2017 under the theme “Bloom where you are planted,” organised by Dimasa Students’ Union (DSU) Bamunpukhuri village commenced on Friday.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Benthungo Ngullie, proprietor of Rapha Clinic, Samaguri village. While addressing the gathering, he advised the students to be the best not only in school but in everything.
Sincerity is important as it leads to successful life not only to oneself but for the whole community, he said. He also appreciated the union for coming up with an idea of summer camp in the village, where students have the privilege of learning during their summer break. “Students are like seeds, nurturing at the young age is the beginning of one’s life success,” he quoted and urged the parents to give importance in nurturing their children.
The programme begins with a prayer by Head Priest, Uttom Difoe while welcome and keynote address was delivered by Tezu Difoe, vice prsident DSUB and vote of thanks was delivered by Khaham Hojai, Tresure. The programme was compered by Jyoti Dimasa.
